Class and character. The same reason someone buys an italian or french car, but in different shades. The same reason people travel to places that are not very touristy, because everything else is too reliable, and things that are too reliable are boring, like a repetitive adventure-less marriage .

No but I’m reading it now.

If I had to guess, this sounds like you tasted a sausage roll for the first time and now you’re a hardcore Anglophile. The only known way to remove Anglophilia is watch every episode of this:
Honestly I would just get used to drinking tea and calling referees wankers.

If you have to ask you don’t get it.
Own one breifly and you’ll understand. When they work, they’re brilliant!
Now, why people go nuts over a car built by the Irish? That’s a mystery for the ages.

Right now I’m in the stage of “Why do I want this thing?”

There’s a certain charm to British cars. They seem so civilized, even billowing smoke/steam on the side of the highway. I don’t know. Go drive one.

Aside from the reliability, given they will usually last about as long as a newspaper in a forest fire, I think they have a certain character. There’s an undoubtedly classy air to most British cars. They just ooze style, for me at least.

I’d take a Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, or McLaren over anything German or Italian.

Masochists are the best.

Have you ever sat in a new Range Rover? How about been off roading in a Discovery? What about carving up twisty roads in an MG? If the answer to all these questions is “no,” then give it a shot. Doing all those things will change your mind immediately, I guarantee it.

I already want all three so there’s not much mind changing that needs to be done lol

Haha ok, good. They can all be a massive pain in the ass but they’re all damn good at what they do.
I’ve driven a 2014 Supercharged Range Rover from Kentucky back to St. Louis and that trip made me fall in love with Range Rovers. My friend’s dad had an old Disco that we took off road too many times at their farm when I was growing up. The thing was damn near unstoppable! My younger brother’s friend has a beautifully restored MG that is a real beast in the corners. It’s an absurdly fun car to drive around.
Those experiences have left me with a terrible want for some type of British vehicle when I have the means to afford something like them.

This is the only reliable one on here. And it comes with a warranty so.
